Dee is an indie author with a love and passion for reading fiction works, including fantasy, romantasy, and dark-gothic pieces. She works full-time managing a tech team, but her heart has always been within the arts, including painting, drawing, and baking. She has two daughters who love everything that tickles their creativity, helping her to continue pushing forward on her own journey. Dee has been happily married for 10 years and lives in beautiful Northern California, where she and her husband run a small homestead they cherish. She has always had vivid dreams and ideas and decided to write some of them down, transforming them into this story.
My Story
I have always wanted to write a story that captures people’s attention and leaves them wondering how they missed the pieces fitting together. When I was a child, I would always say that someday I would write and illustrate a children’s book. While that is still a dream, I started this journey wanting to create something a little darker and dove right into dark romantasy.
